I had to make some quick changes to my Magazine advert as i got some feedback, which would better my work, i quickly re-adjusted and scaled my picture so it was straight and symmetrical.

I have looked at some more tutorials online on how to use Adobe Premiere, my abilty has developed. I know how to use transitions such as cross dissolve, Additive dissolve. Also edits such as dip in to black and dip in to whiter were very useful.

I have started to re-do some of my shots, as my shots were really long and drained on for quite a bit.

I have looked over my footage and decided that it would be best if i pursued a perfomance based music video. I think when i added my narrative clips inside it just looked increasingly tacky and cheesy. So in order to make my music video aesthetically pleasing (A main focus) I have to focus on the performance.

I am planning to film my music video tomorrow, because it is a suitable time for me as my models exams are finishing tomorrow. So i will be able to film with a clear schedule without having to worry about her exam.

I have had some difficulties regarding my model, I plan to film this week, however I need to find a way to solve my problems without making any definite filming plans. My model is reluctant to film any more footage so she I have found a replacement. This time my model is a drama student

Today I have looked at magazine advert layouts and tried to come up with a plan for mine, i have taken some inspiration from different pop magazines. So I now know how to layout the reviews, the image and masthead.

I have given out forms to the kids in my Sister's class about being in my music video, it has all the details and health and safety information, so the parents are aware of what's happening.

Today I surfed the net for previous A2 work and tried looking at things I could use for my video and things I should steer away from. I realised that most of the ones that I had looked at weren't very clear with the narrative, or they didn't portray the message through well. For example I looked at ones that were above my predicted grade and below, to see what is expected of me.

Prodction log (Voki)

I decided to make a voki and give a more personal side to my model. I want to have a variety of softwares, so my blog has that extra edge.

It was pretty fun making it, i plan on using more softwares which are more visually pleasing like this one, it's better having something to look at too because you won't get bored too easily.

In shot the pictures for my digipak and i came out with a set of decent pictures, i decided to use the shot down below as my album cover. The shot is of Emily facing away from the camera, all we see is the back of her, it is a mid shot.

I tried downloading Adobe premiere, however it did not download as i had some problem regarding storage (Technical difficulties). So i decided to borrow my sisters laptop to download it in the end. I need to look at Youtube tutorials and learn the do's and don'ts. It's going to be quite hard as i am more used to working on photo editing softwares.

Today I decided  that I should finally have a trial shoot of my music video, so when I eventually film for real I actually have a faint idea of what I am actually doing, I rang up my model and also had a dress rehearsal kinda thing, so we choose the final outfits, and played around with make-up and hair. There's a picture below showing her getting ready. It was a long, tiring, tough and amusing day but after looking at my videos and clips I took I actually have a small idea of what I'm doing and where I'm going wrong.

I realised that it's really hard to direct and give instructions to the model because I've got an image and certain vision in my head on how i want the video to look like, it's hard putting the message across to the model. on how she should act and do certain things, so that was one of the hard parts. The fact that it was a trial shoot eased the pressure a whole lot!

I am working on my blogging aspect of the project, i don't want to be falling behind, so i am trying to do as much posts as possible! I went to the my main models house and talked outfits and makeup for the video.

I have decided on my first location, i have took various pictures, and a video to show where i am shooting. One of the scenes is taking place in my friends garden as she has a beautifully well kept garden with an arc. I needed a garden kind of place because in parks there is no way in which i can get a power source for my fairy lights and i cannot light open flames (My candles) in a park as it is illegal.

I have thought again about my song, I was first inspired by various Taylor Swift songs, I have decided to use her style of videos as inspiration, but I have finally decided to do A thousand years by Christina perri it is my final choice for my project.

I researched my artist Taylor Swift, and gathered as much information on her as i can. I talked about her critical success, her backstory, her style and influences. I made it on a Slide Rocket, as I liked the overall presentation of Slide Rocket.

I analysed a video, Eenie Meenie by Justin Bieber ft Sean Kingston, I talked about the camera shots, Angles, lighting, editing, costume etc...
I realised that a lot of the conventions are very stereotypical of Pop, and conforms to the ideoology of how pop is.

I have looked through wikipedia and previous Slideshare documents to help me with my first post of "History of a music", I made a video and added all the information I found. I found plenty of information that I did not know about before.
